I am a Ph.D. Candidate in the Interdepartmental Doctoral Program in Transportation at MIT. I received my B.S. from the United States Military Academy in 2003 and my M.S. in Transportation from MIT in 2012.

My research focuses on integrating small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS) into current infrastructure inspection processes to identify failures following an extreme natural or man-made event.
My research goals:
1) Design a computational framework to integrate sUAS into current infrastructure inspection processes that supplements existing policies and accounts for various alerts and monitoring constraints.
2) Formulate and derive theoretical bounds for sUAS-enabled sub-network exploration problem to isolate failure(s) in a timely manner
3) Determine strategic allocation of resources
4) Instantiate the framework for representative use cases (gas and drainage networks)
